Our students in « The Future We Want MUN »

We were greatly honored to be a part of the Moroccan_delegation at « The Future We Want » Morocco Model United Nations: a Global initiative for young Leaders, with the special support of H.E. United Nations Secretary-General Antònio Guterres and H.E Jayathma Wickramanayake Secretary-General Envoy on Youth.

“The Future We Want”, is the world’s largest MUN platform gathering 2,000 young leaders from 136 countries to gain first-hand experience in international relations, produce high-quality resolutions aimed at bringing about sustainable development goals, and submit these resolutions to relevant UN agencies and world leaders for consideration.

The participation of our students in « FWWMUN », A series of workshops delivered by UN Officials and Diplomats was around a number of interesting topics such; youth involvement, the SDGs, and Leadership in order to promote and educate students in leadership, international relations, and consensus-building. Also, they build long-standing friendships, and learn emotional and social skills along with gaining a new level of academic understanding of the issues discussed at the United Nations.

At the committee’s session, our students represented the delegations of many countries which has been an enriching, yet very challenging experience as they got to comprehend the scientific, geographical, cultural, historical, religious, political, economical and social aspects of the subjects matter and how it influences the countries they represent. But on the other hand, their motivation was showing that “WE”, Moroccan young leaders have the skills, the capacity, and knowledge, to be ambassadors, to drive the shift for the FUTURE THEY WANT.
We want to thank the ITALIEN DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY and its Director Pr Abramo Abderrahmane CHABIB, for this magnificent opportunity and this unforgettable experience and for the huge work they do for the future generations.
