History of the University
1989 : ISIAM-Agadir, Higher Institute of Management, was created in 1989, thanks to the funding of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and to the pedagogical collaboration and institutional framework of the UQAR (the University of Quebec at Rimouski). Thanks to this partnership, the ISIAM-Agadir was the first school to have implanted the North-American educational system in Morocco and in Francophone Africa. The creation of this higher institute had for objective to create in Morocco the first higher school in management according to north-American system and teaching methods. In addition, the program had a mission to develop three dimensions in the student: the mastery of technical skills of management, the development of the personality (qualities and values) and the promotion of the entrepreneurial spirit.
1995 : Creation of CENTAURE (Consultancy Bureau). First consultancy bureau in Morocco Specialized in ISO 9000 certifications and training programs.
1998 : Creation of CNDA (National Center of Development and literacy). Non-profit organization that has contributed to literate more than 84 000 women in the rural areas throughout the kingdom.
2004 : Creation of the Polytechnic School of Agadir, First School of engineers in the south of Morocco based on Canadian pedagogic approach.
2006 : Creation of a high School of Tourism. Practice-oriented management training frameworks for hospitality and tourism
2010 : Inauguration of the new campus. First integrated campus including technoparc and students residence
2012 : University accreditation. ISIAM group becomes Universiapolis International University of Agadir and obtains from the Department of Higher Education the official accreditation of Private University and ISIAM-Agadir becomes Faculty of Management Sciences.
2014 : Creation of the Polytechnic School in Libreville. Agreement signed in the presence of His Majesty the King Mohamed VI and His Excellency the President of Gabon, Mr Ali Bongo, by Mr Aziz BOUSLIKHANE and Mr Arthur LEMANI to initiate the creation of a school of engineers in Libreville based on the Universiapolis model.
2015 : Inauguration of the 1st trading room in Morocco Krechendo Trading in partnership with Universiapolis.
2016 : Creation of the Polytechnic School in Douala. Agreement signed with the IPD (Development Panafricain Institute) to initiate the creation of a school of engineers in Douala based on the Universiapolis model.
